Looping, Cordage and Twining

$150Learn some of the foundational weaving and basketry skills in this sampler class which will enable you to take away valuable knowledge and usable skills which can then be used for many applications and creative projects of your very own making.
During this workshop you will explore different types of looping techniques, how to make your own cordage (string making) and make a small soft twined basket using various plant materials.
What’s included;
All materials and equipment (please feel free to bring along any found objects or adornments that are special to you if you would like to incorporate them into your project)
Nourishing lunch, selection of teas and coffee
Tour of our 1 acre garden oasis where you will learn about harvesting and preparation of plant materials for weaving
Small group sizes allow for plenty of one on one tuition as required
Peaceful and tranquil space, community connection, inspiration and individual creativity is encouraged

Creating art in a sustainable way that is waste-free is important to us. Our aim is to inspire you to think about how creativity can be nurtured without impacting the environment.

Cancellation Policy
If you can no longer attend the workshop you have booked, you MUST notify us at least 72hrs before the workshop date to receive a credit to rebook onto another workshop.
If you notify less than 72 hours prior I will endeavor to fill the spot with another participant in which case we can offer you a credit for another workshop. If I am unable to fill your place no credit or refund is available.
You are welcome to arrange transfer of your place to another person to attend and must notify us to do so.
A class requires a minimum number of attendants to go ahead. In the case we do not have minimum numbers to run the workshop you will receive a full refund.
