During my workshops, you will create your own unique functional basket or woven sculptural piece. Nourishing food, real coffee/teas are provided. 

I will take you on a tour of my 1 acre garden where you will learn about identifying plants, gathering of plant materials and, how to prepare them for weaving.  

Gift Vouchers can be purchased for a unique and memorable gift. 

Private group workshops and special events are available either in my studio or I can come to you. Design your own tailor made creative workshop for any occasion. Choose your own date, time and creative project. Ideal for a girls night out, birthday, hens celebration, work mates, team building or end of year get together. Min 6 people

Woven Earth Creative women’s retreat
14th – 16th November

Cath and Pam (studio108) are very excited to be able to create this beautiful offering together. We know how important creativity and being in nature is for our own well being and we hope you can join us for this nourishing time to spend a few days together nurturing ourselves exploring our creative expression with plants and clay, nature, yoga, journaling, eco-printing and more.

DATE: 14th – 16th November

VENUE: Lavender Patch, Mundaring

Exclusive access to the entire 5 acre property bordering the beautiful Fred Jacoby Park.

WHAT TO EXPECT: A safe and supportive space to explore your creativity and nurture yourself. It’s ok to allow ourselves time, space, nature, the breath, healing, support, joy and connections for our creative play to flow and be nurtured.

FOOD: Will be nourishing and delicious with lunches, dinners and desserts lovingly prepared for us by Paige at The Whole Connection. Any dietary needs can be catered for.

You will need to supply your own breakfast, this allows for a little more ease and flexibility for your mornings.

Tea/coffee and milk is provided in each of the kitchens in cottages and the main house kitchen.

Arrival Friday @ 3pm / depart Sunday @ 4pm

EXCHANGE:

MAIN HOUSE: Twin share rooms x 3 (one double and one single bed in each) $1050 PP

COTTAGES: Wandoo Chalet Single in queen bed (only 1 available – SOLD OUT) $1250 PP

Jarrah and Marri Chalets are both Triple share (one double and 2 single beds in each) $950 PP

All the cottages have fully equipped kitchens and ensuites

Each room in the main house has it’s own bathroom with communal kitchen facilities. Anyone who is flying solo will be matched up with a roomie/s and will be added to the private group chat giving you the option to make connections prior to the retreat.

BOOKINGS: Places are limited with max capacity for 12 women.

A $200 deposit is required to secure your place on the retreat with full payment due 14 days prior to the retreat.

Random Weave with Vines

Create a stunning sculptural or functional art piece using foraged vines. 

For this workshop some of the invasive vines used are in fact helping the ecosystem by removing these introduced species from local bushland areas.

Looping and String making

Join us to learn the ancient art of Looping and string making. You will learn various looping styles beginning with simple looping on a form and progressing to chain, double loop and figure eight techniques to make vessels, loop into a void and cover rocks or other objects.

Neolithic Weaving

Learn this ancient form of weaving using strappy leaf plants. During this 4 hour workshop you will learn the braiding technique to create either a vessel or sculptural form.

Previous weaving experience is required, this technique is a little tricky for beginners but please get in touch to discuss if you’re not sure.

Sculptural Palm Sheath Vessels
